Customized Recovey
When clients, or “Family Members” as we refer to them, enter our program, they are looked at as an individual with unique challenges to overcome. We understand that each road to recovery is different for everyone and that there is not just one way or path to recovery. Therefore, with input from the client, our doctors, therapists, and staff we devise a recovery road map or plan, unique to the client to put them on the best path of recovery. This plan not only includes substance abuse treatment, but when needed, mental health treatment as well. We believe in treating the whole person not just the addiction. More often than not, addictions begin with trauma or mental health challenges. Therefore, treating the mental health in addition to substance abuse, can greatly increase the likely hood of long term sobriety.
Detox
Detoxing from substances can be physically, mentally, and emotionally painful. We specialize in minimizing these painful side effects in a home-centered, safe, supportive environment. We incorporate trained staff including doctors, nurses, and therapists that can facilitate medications and therapy to aid in your comfortable detox. While most detox options are conducted in an institution or state-run facility, Hope Rising is unique in that is operates in a home environment surrounded by the beauty of southern Utah, making your recovery as comfortable as possible.
Residential Treatment
Residential treatment is an inpatient program that lasting from a little as a few days to up to 90 days depending on individual circumstances and plan. Residential treatment is a time for your or your loved one to “reset” and focus all of their time and energy on building a solid recovery foundation with out all the distractions of normal life. Residential Treatment is a 24 hour a day 7 days a week type of treatment with 24-hour care including doctors, nurses, therapists and staff. Every minute is accounted for and has purpose in helping the healing begin.
Residential treatment is conducted in a “home centered”, safe and relaxed environment. In addition to treatment, clients have the ability during down time to enjoy the vast array of amenities the facility has to offer.
Day Treatment (PHP)
Our Day Treatment program is a lower level of care than our Residential Treatment in that clients spend between 25-40 hours a week (5-7 days a week) in treatment but go home each night. It is conducted in a separate facility than Residential Treatment. Day Treatment continues to build upon the skills and tools taught in Residential Treatment but adds additional skills and therapy needed to help the client re-integrate back into society sober. Day Treatment is facilitated and monitored by trained therapists, doctors and staff. All clients do not need to attend residential before coming to Day Treatment.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Intensive Outpatient or IOP as it is commonly referred to as, is a step-down program from Day Treatment. IOP is designed for those who have either completed Day Treatment and are ready for less support or are still in need of treatment but need to balance work and family responsibilities and unable to attend Day Treatment. IOP is usually conducted in the evenings giving clients more freedom with their schedules.
IOP continues to build upon the skills and tools taught in Day Treatment as well as developing new ones. Day Treatment is not a pre-requisite to IOP.
Active Therapy
Recovery doesn’t have to be boring. That’s why we take the initiative to engage the mind and body. We offer a full array of activities in each of our levels of care such as hiking trails at Zion National Park and Snow Canyon State Park, paddle boarding, swimming, yoga, art therapy, movies, gaming, gym time, and much more. Clients are not required to participate in active therapy to remain in the programs.
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
At Hope Rising we believe in all types of treatment. Whatever it takes to get and stay sober is in our play book. This includes Medication Assisted Treatment or MAT. MAT is a short-term treatment program that works in conjunction with our other services that uses medications along with counseling and specific goals, mile markers and expectations to treat substance abuse. MAT is NOT a long term or permanent solution. The time range for clients to be in the program is client and circumstance specific. Typically, clients will spend from a couple weeks to 24 months in the program.
